Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the recruiting and development of Outside Sales Representatives, and business development to generate revenue within the small business sector by providing payroll related solutions.
Responsibilities:
Direct and develop a local sales staff
Contribute to corporate objectives by increasing market share and revenue within assigned geographic area.
Assume overall accountability for establishing and implementing an effective sales force.
Meeting district and regional sales goals
Developing regional sales strategies.
Maintenance of a sales infrastructure relating to information/ reporting systems, proposal generation, communication, and information sharing
Evaluate the performance of sales representatives and provide formal and informal training delivery in appropriate areas, including time management, prospecting, qualification, selling skills, sales strategy, product knowledge, and proposal writing
Coach and assist sales representatives in the preparation of special proposals including, pricing quotations, terms of sales and transfer dates as requested by potential customers
Work in the field calling on accounting professionals, small to medium sized business prospects, bankers, lead groups, etc., to develop leads
Present payroll solutions to businesses and decision makers
Close sales
Prepare client and sales paperwork for submission to New Accounts.
Partner with New Accounts department to ensure proper onboarding of clients into the payroll system(s)
Must have a valid driver's license for vehicles used for work and a minimum auto insurance liability limits of at least $100,000/300,000 for bodily injury and property damage

Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years small business payroll sales experience
Minimum one year sales management or senior sales role
Documented success in quota achievement environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
