Team Lead

TransCore, (TRN) a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a full-time Team Lead to join our Customer Service team in Auburn, Massachusetts.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Customer Care Supervisor, the Team Lead assists in the responsibility of the daily operations for the Auburn E-ZDrive Walk-In Customer Service Center, including building and maintaining an exceptional level of customer service, providing ongoing training and support for front staff, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. The Team Lead, in conjunction with the Customer Care Supervisor, is responsible for ensuring that front staff understand and follow established procedures, that assets of the MassDOT are properly controlled and safeguarded and recognizing and communicating to the Customer Care Supervisor any staff performance issues. The Team Lead will assist in the interviewing process, write ups of yearly reviews, and coaching of front staff. The Team Lead will also prepare reports, assess, prioritize and delegate daily work, and take part in the auditing process. The Team Lead will also be responsible for cashing out and opening and closing the E-ZDrive office as needed. In addition, the Team Lead will open new accounts, make payments, change account information, test and replace transponders, and respond to customer requests. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2- 3 years customer service and data entry experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Must have solid data entry and accuracy skills
  • Must be able to adapt quickly, efficiently and positively to various projects assigned
  • Excellent attendance record and superior customer service and interpersonal skills are required

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous leadership and training experience, preferably in an office setting


High school diploma or equivalent

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
